Guided Walks areas

    The Fairfield Horseshoe

Fairfield is one of the most impressive Lake District fell walks, and for lovers of high level circuits, this is a sure fire ‘classic’. The Fairfield Horseshoe is a stunning sight and towers high above Ambleside, 872m, leaving the shoppers and coffee goers looking up in awe.

    The Kentmere Horseshoe

The Adventure Peaks Guided Walk of the Kentmere Horseshoe is a massive day out, consisting of no less than 9 Wainwright summits, an ancient Roman Road, craggy cliffs, picture perfect tarns and spectacular views as far as the eye can see. It is by far the best and most demanding of all of Adventure Peaks Guided Walks in the Far Eastern Fells.

    The Langdale Pikes

There are so many delights, on this Lake District Guided Walk of the Langdale Pikes, that it is hard to describe it all in such a small space. Great Langdale does such a fantastic job of summerising the Lake District; great tarns, huge crags, great peaks, stuuning views, waterfalls and becks, that there really is no better place to visit. It really is a fantastic day out for anyone wanting a truely wild time.

    The Old Man of Coniston

The Lake District Guided Walk of the Coniston Old Man and Dow Crag is one of the best days out in the Southern Lake District. This is one of Adventure Peaks shorter walks, that sets out from the impressive Walna Scar road, but don’t be tricked by its length, this is a hard route with a lot of stunning high level walking.

    Wansfell Pike

Wansfell Pike is one of Adventure Peaks shorter Lake District Guided Walks and its proximity to the shop makes it an ideal spot for an afternoon ramble. Although Wansfell is of lesser height than most of our other walks, it boasts spectacular views over Windermere and the Troutbeck valley. It is slightly higher than its neighbour; Loughrigg, and is home to Stock Ghyll Force, the beautifully impressive river and waterfalls that run through Ambleside.
