Ghyll Scrambling (or Gorge Scrambling) is one of The Lake District's most popular outdoor activities. It is the perfect activity for groups small and large, young and old(er). Book a solo adventure, a team-building epic, an unforgettable stag or hen-do, a birthday party or a family fun day out that gets everyone involved. Any of our public ghylls are available as private tours. You may also request other ghylls you've heard of, or we may suggest alternate ghylls that we think best suit you. The Lake District has an abundance of options, let us plan your perfect half or full day out! You will be provided with all safety gear & a wetsuit. Your guide will have a waterproof bag for any medication. Any technology is bought along at your own risk. The minimum age for our private ghyll scrambles is 6 years old. Not all ghylls or conditions may suit all participants, there is an option to ask any questions when submitting a booking request. There is no minimum or maximum group size for a private booking!

Booking & Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel, you must update your booking information via the website or inform us in writing/via email. Your cancellation date is the date on which we receive written instruction or website confirmation. The following cancellation fees will apply: 30¬15 days before start date: retention of 50% of total price. 14 or fewer days before start date: retention of 100% of total price. The Company cannot be held responsible for any missed connecting transport that you have booked independently of the Company.
