GHYLL SCRAMBLING
Ghyll Scrambling (also known as Gorge Scrambling), is one of The Lake District's most popular outdoor activities.
The perfect activity for all ages and groups large and small; team-building, stag & hen-dos, youth group outings, birthday parties and family fun days out!
Public Ghyll Scrambling; April - October, 8 Years+
Grab a wetsuit and climb, slide and jump your way up or down the Lake District's best mountain ghylls. There are plenty of fun obstacles including natural rock chutes, crystal-clear pools, and even the occasional waterfall!
All public activities require 4 participants to run. Children must be accompanied by an adult (paritipation optional).
Private Ghyll Scrambling; Year Round, All Ages
With stunning ghylls all over the Lake District, there are options for all kinds of group; get in touch to let us plan your adventure!

OUR GHYLLS
A fun beginners Ghyll, taking the path of most fun down the ghyll, by sliding, jumping, swimming and scrambling and taking in the sights and enjoying ourselves on the way!
A great 'choose your level' Ghyll, with 'superman' and 'cannonball' jumps, mini climbs and abseils, scrambles and pools to relax in as we travel up-stream.
We can run any of our Ghylls as private tours for large and small groups of all ages, or take you somewhere new!
A max intensity, full day out; Esk Gorge is not for the faint-hearted! With water sourced straight from the tallest mountain in England, jumps, scrambles and stunning scenery!
