OUTDOOR ROCK CLIMBING

We run outdoor rock climbing sessions run for complete beginners through to confident climbers, all gear included!

With tonnes of gorgeous crags across the Lake District, you'll be spoilt by both the view, and by the range of climbing options.

Public Climbing; April - October, 8 Years+

Public single-pitch climbing is available for beginners wanting to experience outdoor climbing for the first time, with full days of coaching available to introduce you to the world of outdoor climbing.

All public activities require 4 participants to run. Children must be accompanied by an adult (paritipation optional).

 

Private Climbing; Year Round, All Ages

We run private climbing lessons all over the Lake District, get in touch to let us plan your adventure!

All of our Public Activities can be booked privately.

WHAT TO BRING

You will be provided with a helmet, a harness, a belay device and climbing shoes (just let us know your size).

  • Comfortable footwear (there will be a walk to approach the rock) 

  • Clothing suitable for climbing (no jeans or skirts) 

  • Warm clothing including hat and gloves 

  • Waterproof jacket

  • Sun hat, sun glasses and sun cream 

  • Snacks 

  • Water bottle 

  • Any personal medication including Epipens 

  • Personal equipment you'd like to practice with
