Half Day Ghyll Scrambling
Meeting Point: Langdale A short 5 minute walk up from the carpark takes us to the start of Stickle Barn Ghyll. From here we will travel upstream, climbing up waterfalls, jumping in rock pools, scrambling over boulders and swimming in crystal clear water, as the view of Langdale valley gets better and better. This is a great 'choose your level' ghyll, as it's always easy to climb out of the water to re-join the path alongside and skip any sections that make you feel uncomfortable. Your guide will be there to encourage and support you through everything! You will be provided with all safety gear & a wetsuit. Your guide will have a waterproof bag for any medication. Any technology is bought along at your own risk! We wear harnesses in this ghyll to provide support for short sections of climbing. The minimum age for this activity is 8 years old on a public booking, but younger kids are welcome in private groups. Spectators are welcome - you can walk alongside the ghyll the entire time, with plenty of great photo taking opportunities! THIS ACTIVITY REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 4 PARTICIPANTS TO RUN.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel, you must update your booking information via the website or inform us in writing/via email. Your cancellation date is the date on which we receive written instruction or website confirmation. The following cancellation fees will apply: 30¬15 days before start date: retention of 50% of total price. 14 or fewer days before start date: retention of 100% of total price. The Company cannot be held responsible for any missed connecting transport that you have booked independently of the Company.
