Public Stoneycroft Ghyll Scrambling

Meeting Point: Stair, Keswick A short but scenic walk up through the hills takes us to our starting for Stoneycroft Ghyll. From here we will take the path of most fun back down! We slide, jump, swim, and scramble over a range of terrain, taking in the sights and enjoying ourselves on the way! This ghyll is great for anyone looking for a fun 'out of the ordinary' day out. The day changes greatly depending on the amount of water (recent rain) in the ghyll, from a chilled out wander, to an adrenaline-fuelled slip and slide. Get in touch if you're unsure whether current conditions suit you. You will be provided with all safety gear & a wetsuit. Your guide will have a waterproof bag for any medication. Any technology is bought along at your own risk! The minimum age for this activity is 8 years old on a public booking, but younger kids are welcome in private groups. Spectators are welcome - you can walk alongside the ghyll on the same path we walk in on, but you cannot always see the action. THIS ACTIVITY REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 4 PARTICIPANTS TO RUN.
